Event Description: Due to a scheduling conflict with the Metro Council meeting, the debate sponsored by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee State University, and the Madison-Rivergate Chamber of Commerce has been moved to Monday, June 25 at 7:00pm at TSU's downtown Avon Williams auditorium. The meet the candidates reception is from 5:00pm-6:30pm, doors close for the debate at 6:30pm, the debate will begin at 7:00pm and will last until 8:00pm.

Join the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce for a debate with the major Nashville mayoral candidates at Tennessee State University's newly renovated Avon Williams Campus Auditorium. Prior to the debate, we will host a "Meet the Candidates" reception in the Avon Williams Campus Atrium. All candidates for Mayor, Vice Mayor and Metro Council are invited to the reception.

Due to venue size, seating for the debate portion of the event is extremely limited, and a ticket is mandatory for admittance. Debate is open to Chamber members only. We will honor ticket requests for the debate on a first-come, first-served basis, so please respond at your earliest convenience. Following receipt of your registration, you will receive communication in the mail regarding ticket status.

Reception for Candidates: 5-6:30 p.m.

Debate: 7 p.m. (doors close at 6:30 p.m.)
Broadcast Live on WSMV Channel 4
Reception for At-Large Candidates: 7:30-8:30 p.m.

The "Meet the Candidates" reception is open to the entire Chamber membership.
A ticket is not required to attend.

Directions:
From I-40, take Exit 209 – Charlotte Avenue. Head east on Charlotte into downtown. Parking arrangements have been made at the State of Tennessee parking lot located on the corner of Charlotte and 10th Avenues.

Shuttles will be available in the lot to transport attendees to the McLemore Street entrance. Persons with disabilities may park on McLemore Street. Guests should enter TSU through the McLemore entrance.
